My love for Photography started at a very young age. My friends always teased me about always having a camera with me. They did not understand my passion and my love for capturing memories. Now they do. You see, I have a history of Alzheimer's disease in my family. Memory is extremely important to me. I am now 51 years old and I totally enjoy the art, creativity and blessings of photography.

How I got started as a professional photographer: I started taking pictures at church because a church member who was taking pictures at the time was losing his eye sight due to diabetes and other health issues. My husband surprised me one Christmas with a Canon EOS Rebel. The rest is history.

I am married to Byll and have two sons, Brandon and Kenny. I love the Lord, I love laughter and I love life. One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

I have always been told that I "have an eye". However, as Aristippus once said, "Native ability without education is like a tree without fruit". I have had extensive formal training and am a graduate of Tri Community Photography School. I continue to increase my technical knowledge in order to improve my skill. I am totally blessed with the ability to combine formal technical training, creativity and natural instinct to capture and preserve beautiful memories with style.
